Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, paid an official visit to the 6th Regiment of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (Rft) at Pankulama on Tuesday, 22 April 2025.
Upon arrival, the Commanding Officer warmly welcomed the Commander, Security Forces (East), who was honored with a colorful Guard Turnout at the entrance. Following the formal welcome, he planted an orange tree and posed for a group photograph with the officers and other ranks of the battalion.
Furthermore, he addressed the troops and visited the camp premises, inspecting the basic needs of the soldiers.
Before departing from the unit, the Commander shared a few thoughts and compliments in the visitors’ book.
