The 4th Battalion Gemunu Watch started battalion training on Monday (18 September) at the Battalion Training School – Punani and Commander, Security Forces – East, Major General Prasanna Gunaratne participated as the Chief Guest on the occasion and delivered the opening address speech. Commander Security Forces – East highlighted the worth of this training as a soldier to the troops. Also, he wished the best of luck to all participants for the success of the training.
Under the careful supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division, this collective training will be conducted over 45 working days from 18 September 2023 to 06 November 2023 with the participation of 4th Battalion Gemunu Watch Officers and Other Ranks.
