CONDUCT OF ILLEGAL DRUG PREVENTION AWARENESS PROGRAMME

Under the direction of Comd SF HQ (E) and GOC 23 Inf Div with the noble objective of keeping both students and teachers are aware of dangerous consequences of use of illegal drugs. The awareness programme was conducted on 21 November 2023 from 1100 hours to 1300 hours at Vigneshwaram School Kathiraweli.

Over 300 students and 15 teachers in the school were participated for the lecture and the lecture was conducted by main coordinator in Batticaloa area Mr. P Thinesh, National Dangerous Drugs Control Board.

Commanding Officer 7 Battalion Gamunu Watch together with the Batticaloa district main coordinator of Lieutenant Colonel Chandika Ehalepola SLSR attended the awareness programme.
