The M C A Hameed Hajiyar Trust, Arayampathi had organized their Annual Feast to distribute 7000 dry ration packs to the Muslim and Tamil under privileged families in the Batticaloa town area, on 25.07.2018.
The objective of this trustee fund is to facilitate and accomplish peace, harmony and reconciliation among the people. The Commander SF (E), Major General Santhusitha Pananwala participated as the Chief Guest for this annual event along with General Officer Commanding 23 Division, Brig Chula Abeynayake and Brigade Commander 231 Brigade, Brig Senarath Niuwnhella.
Eastern theater troops contributed this noble effort by coordinating the event and providing assistance to organizing committee to distribute dry ration packs.11th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, under the direction of 231 Brigade facilitated for the event.
