THE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT WAS ORGANIZED BY THE 15 BATTALION SRI LANKA LIGHT INFANTRY FOR THE CIVIL COMMUNITY

According to the concept of the General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division Major General PAM Peiris RSP USP psc, under the supervision and guidance of the Commander 223 Infantry Brigade Brigadier YHP Rangajeewa USP organized a football tournament along with the 15 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry on 08 to 11 February 2024 at Mollipothana Hamidiya ground with the coordination of Hamidiya Sports Club. This was organized to build cooperation and trust among the Thahalagamuwa Kinniya and Muthur area communities. Out of thirty sports teams, the Kinniya "Noha" football team became the champs.
