FOUNDATION STONE WAS LAID FOR THE "VIHARA GEYA" AT MAHA DIULWEWA PURANA RAJAMAHA VIHARAYA

The Foundation Stone for a Vihara Geya (Shrine Room) was laid at the auspicious time on (21) Tuesday at maha Diulwewa Purana Rajamaha Viharaya Trincomalee by General Officer Commanding - 22 Division Major General Aruna Jayasekara.

This Vihara Geya will be constructed by the troops under 221 Brigade with the financial support of 'Samadhi Wandana Foundation'.

The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony was held under the guidance of the Chief Incumbent Trincomalee Ven Dehiowita Piyathissa Thero.

DIG - Trincomalee Mr. Nimal Perera, Commander 221 Brigade Colonel DPU Gunasekara, Col Coord (VOL) 22 Div Lt Col HMLK Amunugama and many devotees participated in this event.
