SPECIAL LUNCH FOR CHILDREN OF LOW-INCOME FAMILIES FROM THE EAST COMMANDER

The wealth of the Commander, Security Forces - East, Major General Sujeewa Hettiararchchi, and his family organized programme of distributing lunch packets by the troops of the 6 Gajaba Regiment for the children of Madurankenikulam School and Kirimichchiodei School in Batticaloa district.

The programme was conducted on Friday (March 24) at the Schools. Children and the principal with the staff of the schools participated in the programme. The Commander, Security Forces - East, Major Genaral Sujeewa Hettiararchchi, Colonol General Staff, 23 Infantry Division, Civil Affairs Officer, Security Force Headquarters - East, Second in Command and troops of 6 Gajaba Regiment were presented to make the event success.
