21 INFANTRY DIVISION ORGANIZED A SHRAMADANA CAMPAIGN TO CLEAN UP RUWANWELI MAHA SEYA PREMISES

The 21 Infantry Division organized a Shramadana Campaign on 08April 2024, to clean the Ruwanweli Maha Seya premises in the sacred city of Anuradhapura, under the direction of Major General W P A D W NANAYAKKARA RSP VSV USP ndu, Commander Security Forces (Wanni), and with close supervision of Major General HHKSS HEWAGE RWP RSP USP rcds psc, General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, The initiative was carried out by troops from the 212 and 213 Infantry Brigades, who were eager to contribute to environmental conservation. The troops also showed a shared commitment to promoting cleanliness and conserving the natural beauty of the stupa premises. The effort concluded with a sense of accomplishment and pride in having promoted community engagement and environmental conservation. This project demonstrated the 21 Infantry Division's commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community involvement.
