211 Infantry Brigade Troops Support Blood Donation Campaign

In alignment with the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (Wanni), Major General K M P S B Kulathunga RSP ndu psc, and on the instructions of the General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division, Major General W W M P W W B R Palamakumbura RWP RSP, troops of the 211 Infantry Brigade voluntarily participated in a blood donation campaign held at Padaviya Hospital on 07 June 2025.

Under the direct supervision of Brigadier T D P Siriwardhana psc, Commander 211 Infantry Brigade, a total of 54 Army personnel, including officers and other ranks from the 211 Infantry Brigade, 9 Gajaba Regiment, and 5(V) Gajaba Regiment, contributed to the noble cause.

The medical team at Padaviya Hospital, including doctors and support staff, played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient conduct of the event.

This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of Royal College Colombo, as part of their 46th Annual Blood Donation Campaign.
