213 INF BDE CROWNED CHAMPIONS IN 21 INFANTRY DIVISION INTER BRIGADE SOCCER TOURNAMENT

With the intention of enhancing the synergy and sports ability of of both Officers and soldiers serving under 21 Infantry Division conjunction with the 36th anniversary celebration of 21 Infantry Division, Under the guidance of General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division Major General HHKSS Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, and under the supervision of Commander 213 Infantry Brigade Col PM de Silva RSP USP , the 2 Mechanized Infantry Regiment organized the 21 Infantry Division Inter Brigade Soccer Tournament - 2024 at Mechanized Infantry Training Centre play Ground, Periyakaddu. The tournament commenced with initial matches held on 23 December 2023 with the participation of 211 Inf Bde, 212 Inf Bde and 213 Inf Bde. During the grand finals held on 30 March 2024, 212 Inf Bde Team and 213 Inf Bde Team competed for victory. Ultimately, 213 Inf Bde Team emerged as the champions of the tournament.
