The passing-out ceremony of Basic Swimming and Life Saving Course Number 19, has taken place on 21 February 2024 at the Security Forces Headquarters Wanni Swimming pool Complex in Ranasewapura, Anuradhapura under the 21 Infantry Division.
The Commander Security Forces Wanni, and the Colonel of the Regiment Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Major General WPADW Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
27 number of male soldiers from different regiments passed out from the course. S/D102057 Pte Kumara VAP from 17 Sri Lanka Light Infantry obtained the best in order of merit by gaining 76.8% marks.
The event was lightened up with various cultural dance events, followed by the life saving demonstration and swimming display by course Participants.
