Troops of 54 Division conducted a Shramadhana Campaign to clean the Coastal Area of Keeri beach in Mannar on 18 September 2018.
The Cleaning programme was conducted to mark the International Coastal Cleaning Day and it was commenced at 0700 hours with the participation of 04 Officers 60 Other Ranks representing the 54 Division Headquarters and under command formations.
The event was successfully launched under the guidance and supervision of General Officer Commanding - 54 Division Brigadier W G H A S Bandara RWP RSP ndu.
The Commander 543 Brigade Brigadier H M T B Hangilipola RWP RSP and troops under Command to 543 Brigade participated enthusiastically for the event.
