The Vesak zone, organized by 54 Division was held on 29, 30 April, 01 and 02 May 2018 at Thallady junction- Mannar.
This Vesak zone was comprised with colourful Vesak lanterns and Dansels and it was organized to build up the virtuous rapport and the reconciliation between all religious groups in Mannar district.
More than 4000 civilians gathered to witness the splendour of the Vesak Zone and it was organized by troops under 54 Division under the supervision and guidance of General Officer Commanding of 54 Division Major General AthulaGalagamage.
