Troops of 62 Division Headquarters together with all Brigades and Battalions under command to the 62 Division launched a Flag March on 16 October 2018 from Padaviya town to the Public Ground Parakramapura on account of the 69thArmy Anniversary.
Over 80 Officers with 700 Other Ranks marched about 9km exhibiting the pride and valor of soldiers in Sri Lanka Army and thousands of civilians and school children in the area gathered to witness the parade and blessed with clapping, waving national flags with cheerful faces.
The General Officer Commanding 62 Division Brigadier LANS Wanigasinghe RWP RSP, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers of all under command establishments participated in this colourful march.
