62 DIVISION ORGANIZED A MEDICAL CLINIC FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED FAMILIES IN WELIOYA
A Medical clinic was organized by troops of 62 Division for underprivileged families resided in Welioya area on 14 October 2017 at Gajabapura School, Gajabapura. The event was patronized by Sri Lanka College of Military Medicine with a team consists of 11 Specialists, 24 Doctors and 95 Medical Assistants.\r\n\r\nThis charitable event was conducted by Officers and Other Ranks of 62 Division, 621 Brigade, 14 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry with supervision of the General Officer Commanding of 62 Division Brigadier L A N S Wanigasinghe RWP RSP USP.\r\n\r\nApproximately 1086 members in Welioya administrative area were benefited through this charitable event.\r\n\r\nMajor General S H Munasinghe RWP RSP USP provided a great assistance to conduct this medical campaign along with the doctors and medical assistance of tri services. \r\n\r\nGeneral Officer Commanding 62 Division, Senior Officers, Officers and large number of civilians participated in the event.\r\n\r\n
