As per the directions given by SF (Wanni) 65 Inf Div, 651 Inf Bde, 652 Inf Bde and 653 Inf Bde with under Command Battalions (10 SLLI, 19 SLLI, 17 (v) SLLI and 24 GR) Tree planting programmes were conducted according to the 72nd Army Anniversary day under the supervision of GOC and Bde Comds. During the plantation programme, 72 saplings were planted each in camp premises.
Further, tps of Division and Battalions distributed dry ration packs and launch packets for selected needy families and conducted Shramadana Campaign in AOR. The program was co-ordinate by the Commanding Officers under Command Battalions.
Bde Commanders, Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated for the events.
