The Annual Katina Pinkama programme was held at the historic Mathota Rajamaha Viharaya in Mannar, located within the 54 Infantry Division area of responsibility, on 12 and 13 October 2025.
All organizing activities related to the ceremony were conducted under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 54 Infantry Division, Major General A M C Abeykoon RWP RSP USP ndc, and the supervision of the Commander 541 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier I P Jayasinghe RWP. The event was coordinated under the full supervision of the Commanding Officer of 10 (V) Gemunu Watch Regiment, Major R M H Karunarathna, together with the participation of officers and other ranks of the battalion.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the General Officer Commanding 54 Infantry Division, along with the Commanders of the 541, 542, and 543 Infantry Brigades, as well as officers from the Sri Lanka Navy and Police serving in the area.
