BRIGADIER D D D SERASINGHE USP ASSUMED OFFICE AS THE BRIGADIER ADMIN AND QUARTERING OF SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)

Brigadier D D D Serasinghe USP, the newly appointed Brigadier Admin and Quartering (BAQ) of the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), assumed duties on 13 May 2026 during a simple ceremony held amidst religious blessings.

As the Chief Incumbent at Madukanda Sri Dalada Viharaya began chanting 'Seth Pirith', Brigadier D D D Serasinghe USP signed an official document at auspicious time to symbolizing the acceptance of the new office. Officers from the General Staff Branch and Officers of the Admin and Quartering Branch participated for the event.
