Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (Wanni), undertook official visits to the 4th Sri Lanka Signal Corps and the 3rd Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps on 17 May 2025.
Upon his arrival, Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, was warmly received by the respective Commanding Officers and honoured with a ceremonial drive-past. To mark the occasion, he planted a mango sapling and joined Officers and Other Ranks for a group photograph.
The visit included a comprehensive briefing, during which the operational roles, responsibilities, and ongoing commitments of both battalions were presented. The Commander then inspected the respective Battalion Headquarters and addressed the troops.
In his address, Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, emphasized the importance of upholding the dignity of the Sri Lanka Army, maintaining discipline, and exemplifying integrity in both professional and personal spheres. He also encouraged all personnel to remain informed of evolving societal trends and to continue their unwavering commitment to duty.
The visit concluded with the Commander signing the Visitors’ Book, where he commended the professionalism and dedication demonstrated by both battalions.
Senior Officers from the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), as well as Officers and Other Ranks from the respective units, also participated in the event.
