The Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, paid an official visit to the Army Base Hospital – Anuradhapura on 07 May 2025. Upon arrival, he was warmly received by the Commanding Officer of the hospital.
During the visit, the Commanding Officer delivered a comprehensive presentation detailing the roles, responsibilities, and ongoing functions of the Army Base Hospital. Following the briefing, Commander Security Forces (Wanni) undertook a field tour of the hospital premises, including the Army Teaching Hospital, where he observed the facilities and interacted with medical personnel.
He commended the hospital staff for their professionalism, dedication, and continued commitment to delivering high-quality medical care, especially under demanding conditions.
At the conclusion of the visit, Commander Security Forces (Wanni) recorded a complimentary remark in the visitors’ book, expressing his appreciation for the excellent service provided by the hospital.
Major General T A Peiris ptsc, Commander Logistics Command (Wanni), along with senior officers of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), other officers, and other ranks also took part in the visit.
