COMMANDING OFFICERS’WORKSHOP HELD AT SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)

As per the visionary leadership and concept of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP and distinguished guidance of General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division, Major General L D S S Liyanage RSP USP MMS psc Hdmc, 56 Infantry Division organized a two days workshop for Commanding Officers’ of under command Battalions and Regiments of Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) held from 25th to 26th April 2022 at the 3D hall of Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) with the participation of 40 Commanding Officers.

The General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division, Major General L D S S Liyanage RSP USP MMS psc Hdmc conducted an inspiration alley note speech at the beginning of the programme. The aim of this workshop was to upgrade the professional knowledge pertaining to regimental matters, to inculcate leadership qualities, to build and develop the co-operation and coordination among Commanding Officers’ in Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) AOR.

The workshop comprised with unit administration, Officers’ career progression and performance evaluation, training perspectives, policies govern on regimental accounts, pay & allowances, national security &intelligence, command responsibilities on legal background and followed by an interaction session between COs.
