Under the leadership of Brigadier T D P Siriwardana, the 211 Infantry Brigade, with support from the 9 Gajaba Regiment, organized a gift donation program for 161 pregnant mothers in Welioya. Sponsored by 4ever Skin Naturals (Pvt) Ltd and supported by medical professionals from Padaviya and Sampathnuwara Hospitals, the initiative aimed to promote maternal health and demonstrated effective collaboration between the military, healthcare sector, and private sponsors in community outreach.
