According to the SLAWFS 2020- 2025 and concept of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) Major General CD Ranasinghe RWP RSP, with the guidance of General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, Major General WRMM Rathnayaka RWP RSP USP ndu, in view of extending a helping hand to outfit educational standards of students in the remote area, a donation of school accessories got underway on 15January 2022 at213 Infantry Brigade Headquarters premises, under the supervision of the Commander 213 Infantry Brigade Colonel LGJN Ariyathilaka RWP RSP
This was materialized, on the contribution made by the Sri Lankan philanthropists who are presently residing in Australia, having same intention of uplifting educational standards of students in remote area. During the programme 145 students belongs to 04 schools received school accessories. This programme was organized by 213 Infantry Brigade with the contribution of 2nd Battalion the Mechanized Infantry Regiment, 5th (V) Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 4th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard. The Commander Security Forces (Wanni) graced the event as the chief guest and the General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, Divisional Director of Educational Mahawilachchiya a group of Officers and school principle and the staff took part for the occasion.
