EDEX NENA PAHANA DONATES BOOKS TO UNDERPRIVILEGED SCHOOLS IN SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI) AREA

EDEX Nena Pahana Project, conducted a donation of valuable books and reading materials for students in underprivileged schools of V/Kulukunnamaduwa School, V/ Kalmadu Tamil Collage, V/ Kalmadu Maha Vidyalaya and V/ Bogaswewa Maha Vidyalaya on 21 September 2018.

EDEX is a project spearheaded by the Royal College Union comprising of a group of old Royalists who are volunteering to make such social welfare projects successful. EDEX Nenapahana is a CSR activity that they implement in a large scale to help under privileged schools and students.

EDEX voluntarily came forward and made the request for distribution of books form the Security Force Commander Wanni Major General Kumudu Perera who facilitated it as another social welfare project for the purpose of empowering Sri Lankan youth to be globally competitive.
