The newly appointed General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 21 Infantry Division, Major General T N K Perera ,visited the 211 Infantry Brigade and its under-command Battalions on 25 November 2025.
Upon arrival, the visiting Senior Officer was warmly received by Brigadier T D P Siriwardene psc the Commander of the 211 Infantry Brigade and honoured in a Guard Turnout, followed by group photograph. During the visit, a detailed briefing of the Brigade was conducted by the Commander of the Brigade and the Commanding Officers of the respective Battalions and joined an All Ranks tea arrangement.He subsequently toured the 9 Gajaba Regiment.
On the visit to the 9 Gajaba Regiment he honoured with a Guard turnout, followed by planting of sapling ,group photograph addressed the troops, detailed briefing of the 9 GR AOR. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
