MOTIVATIONAL SEMINAR FOR O/L STUDENTS ORGANIZED BY SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS WANNI

Security Force Headquarters Wanni organized a motivational and exam stress management seminar for the students sitting for the GCE O/L exam in 2018. Students representing several Tamil and Sinhala schools under Education Zone of Vavuniya attended this seminar organised free of charge with the help of Colombo Institute of Research and Psychology.

A team of professional and well-trained clinical psychologists from Colombo Institute of Research and Psychology, Mr Darshana Madawala, Mr M I Ahamad Ifthikar and Ms Dimuthu Pasqual conducted this timely and valuable educational seminar on 23 November 2018. The event was organized on the directions of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu and the resource panel too was coordinated by him personally.

Over 267 Tamil and 172 Sinhala students attended the seminar at Sinnamani Lecture Hall in Vavuniya which was set up by 211 Brigade under the supervision of Commander 211 Brigade Colonel M G T D Rathnasekara USP.

The event was organized by the Security Force Headquarters Wanni as another step towards reconciliation and to assist in education of the future generation in underprivileged areas.
