NEW DEPUTY GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 21 INFANTRY DIVISION ASSUMES DUTIES

Major General W M P W N D B Weerakoon RSP USP ndc assumed duties as the third Deputy General Officer Commanding (DY GOC) of the 21 Infantry Division during a simple ceremony held at the Division Headquarters on 07 May 2026.

Amidst religious blessings, the newly appointed Deputy General Officer Commanding officially signed an assumption of duties document, symbolizing the formal acceptance of his new appointment.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the occasion.
