Quarter Master General, Major General G R R P Jayawardena RWP RSP ndu and Master General Ordnance Major General W M R W W H J B Wanigasekara USP of Sri Lanka Army together with respective staff officers paid a official visit to Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) on Saturday (09) in order to iron out logistics and administrative issues pertaining to under command formations of the Security Force (Wanni).
Staff Officers of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), General Officer Commanders, Brigade Commanders and Commanding Officers of logistics units of Security Force (Wanni) extended a warm welcome to Major General G R R P Jayawardena RWP RSP ndu and Major General W M R W W H J B Wanigasekara USP on arrival by presenting ceremonial honours at the entrance.
General Officer Commanding, 56 Infantry Division, Major General Manjula Kariyswasam, officially welcomed them with a brief introduction. After interactive session in the Station Officers’ Mess, in closing the event both Officers endorsed their remarks in the Visitors’ Book.
