According to a concept and an initiation of Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), under the guidance an supervision of Commander 21 Infantry Division, Commander 213 Infantry Brigade, the “RIVER VIEW COTTAGE” a super luxury accommodation was constructed with the effort of troops of 213 Infantry Brigade, 2 Mechanized Infantry Regiment, 2 (Volunteer) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and 5th Sri Lanka National Guard at the premises of River Edge Leisure Holiday Bungalow which is managed by 213 Infantry Brigade.
It was opened by the Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu on 17 February 2024. The General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commander 213 Infantry Brigade Colonel H A A N C Prabath RSP USP also graced the occasion.
The Commanding Officers of 2 Mechanized Infantry Regiment, 2 (Volunteer) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, 5th Sri Lanka National Guard and Officers and Other Ranks of 213 Infantry Brigade were participated for the event.
