REAPING CEREMONY OF PADDY HARVEST AT 56 INFANTRY DIVISION

The reaping ceremony of paddy harvest in “Maha” Season started with combination of Hindu, Buddhist traditional and religious rites and rituals by Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc.6 Acres of paddy fields were cultivated with early maturing varieties few months ago by troops of the division under the guidance of former General Officer Commanding, Major General HGPM Kariyawasam RSP ndc psc IG (Retd).

Furthermore, harvest will be sold to army members at affordable prices.
