Second Phase of Security Fence Renovation at Vedithalathivu Divisional Hospital – 04 May 2025 Under the “Clean Sri Lanka” Project

Under the guidance of Brigadier I P Jayasinghe RWP, Commander of the 541 Infantry Brigade, troops from the 5 (V) Mechanized Infantry Regiment commenced the second phase of the security fence renovation at the Vedithalathivu Divisional Hospital on 04 May 2025. As part of this phase, concrete posts were installed to strengthen the perimeter. The initiative, conducted under the “Clean Sri Lanka” project, saw active participation from hospital staff and local community members, reflecting a strong spirit of collaboration and civic responsibility.
