Security Force (Wanni) taking another step forward for the housing project laid the foundation stone for a new house of Mrs. K Indrani Mallika residing at Mhakanadarawa, Rambewa on 08 September 2021 in (Wanni) AOR.
Mrs K Indrani Mallika is having seventh children and was undergoing lot of hardships even without a primary shelter to reside. Philanthropist living in Colombo Dr. Baggiya Wejewardana sponsored fund’s to construct a this house and it was coordinated by the Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General D M H D Bandara RWP RSP USP.
Foundation stone for the construction of house was auspiciously laid by Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General D M H D Bandara RWP RSP USP gracing the occasion as the chief guest.
Construction of the house was under taken by troops of 2 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment with the guidance of 211 Brigade and 21 Division.
211 Infantry Brigade Commander Brigadier M C S K Senvirathne RWP USP, Senior Officers of 211 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer, Officers and Other Rank of 2 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and family members of beneficiary were present at the occasion.
