Demonstrating its steadfast commitment to community wellbeing and maternal healthcare, Nature's Beauty Creations Ltd generously sponsored a welfare programme to provide essential baby care products to 137 expectant mothers in Vavuniya. The initiative, organized and coordinated by the Sri Lanka Army, exemplified a meaningful corporate–military partnership dedicated to nurturing a healthier future generation.
The programme was held on 13 February 2026 from 1430 hrs onwards at the auditorium of Gamini Maha Vidyalaya. The event was graced by Colonel Waruna Dassanayake, Commander of the 563 Infantry Brigade, as the Chief Guest. Representing Nature's Beauty Creations, Senior Brand Manager Mr. Sampath Samaraweera and Senior Area Sales Manager Mr. Rathakirushnan Ramanan attended as Guests of Honour.
The occasion was further attended by Medical Officer Dr. S. Thiruvekaran of the Vavuniya Public Health Office, the Vice Principal and staff of Gamini Maha Vidyalaya, along with senior Army officers and troops, thereby reinforcing strong civil community cooperation.
The initiative was conducted under the guidance of the Commander, Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), Major General Pradeep Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, and under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division. The Commanding Officer of the 7th Battalion, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Priyanka Kankanige RWP RSP USP psc, together with the Senior Officer and Civil Affairs Officer of the 563 Infantry Brigade, coordinated the programme successfully.
The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Nature's Beauty Creations for its generous sponsorship and to the Sri Lanka Army for the effective organization and coordination of the event. This initiative significantly strengthened civil–military cooperation while promoting maternal healthcare and social wellbeing within the region.
