SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF BATTALION TRAINING OF 11 GW

The 11th Gemunu Watch completed their battalion training course at the Battalion Training School, Kalyanipura on 20th June 2023.

The training, comprised of 10 Officers and 301 Other Ranks, started on May 2, 2023 and reached its culmination on June 20, 2023 with the closing remarks of the Commander, Security Force (Wanni), Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP.

As per the day’s programme, the Commander, Security Force (Wanni) made it’s closing remarks, elucidating the importance of battalion training amidst numerous constraints and awarded certificates and trophies to those who had exhibited special skills during the course.

Major General Janaka Ranasinghe, General Officer Commanding, 62 Infantry Division, Commanders 621 and 623 Infantry Brigades, Chief Instructor, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks witnessed the closing ceremony.
