Third Stage Of The Renovation Of Security Fence At Vedithalathivu Divisional Hospital On 24 May 2025 Under Clean Sri Lanka Project

Under the guidance of Brigadier I P Jayasinghe RWP, Commander of the 541 Infantry Brigade, troops of the 5 (V) Mechanized Infantry Regiment commenced the third phase of renovating the security fence surrounding Vedithalathivu Divisional Hospital on 24 May 2025. This phase involved the installation of new concrete posts, strengthening the hospital’s perimeter security. The project is part of the ongoing “Clean Sri Lanka” initiative, aimed at improving community spaces and facilities. Hospital staff actively joined the effort, highlighting commendable teamwork and community spirit.
