Troops of 54 division organised a blood donation campaign at the Headquarters premises of 54 Division Thallady - Mannar on 9 November 2018 under the guidance and supervision of the General Officer Commanding 54 Division, Brigadier WGHAS Bandara RWP RSP ndu.
Over 145 Army personnel including Officers and Other Ranks of 54 Division and under command Brigade and Battalions participated in the campaign.
A medical team at the District Hospital Vavuniya assisted the project with the support of the nurses and a medical staff. Collected blood during the campaign was donated to the blood bank of District HospitalVauniya.
