VISIT OF ASSISTANT DEFENCE ADVISOR TO THE HIGH COMMISSION OF INDIA IN SRI LANKA TO SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)

Lieutenant Colonel Mandeep Singh Negi, SM, the Assistant Defence Advisor to the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka paid a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) on 31 January 2024 .

Lieutenant Colonel Mandeep Singh Negi, SM was warmly welcomed by the Major General Dinesh Nanayakkara, Commander Security Forces (Wanni) at the Forces Headquarters (Wanni). During the cordial interaction, both parties exchange views on the role of Security Forces (Wanni) with focus on security, community development, civil-military cooperation, illegal narcotic trading, etc.

Upon conclusion of the discussion, the visiting Assistant Defence Advisor penned downs a few words in the Visitors' Book. Afterwards, an exchange of symbolic mementoes brought the cordial meeting to an end.
