The Commander Security Forces (Wanni) Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP visited Battalion Training school Pampeimadu which is under the Security Forces (Wanni) on 14th March 2022.
The Battalion Training was commenced on 14th February 2022 due to Covid - 19 pandemic situations. Presently 8th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment is following the battalion training at Battalion Training School - Pampeimadu. During the visit, Commander Security Forces (Wanni) addressed the Officers and Other Ranks of 8th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and emphasized the importance of training, maintaining the discipline and good conduct with responsibility to ensure the image of Sri Lanka Army.
