VISIT OF GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 21 INFANTRY DIVISION TO 213 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Major General T N K Perera, the 44th General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division, undertook an official visit to the 213 Infantry Brigade on 27 November 2025.

Upon arrival, the visiting senior officer was warmly received by Brigadier B N S B Rangama RSP USP psc, Commander of the 213 Infantry Brigade. A ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented in honour of the General Officer Commanding, followed by the planting of a sapling in front of the parade ground, symbolising environmental stewardship.

Subsequently, a group photograph was taken in front of the Brigade Headquarters. The General Officer Commanding then addressed the troops at the Battalion Lecture Hall, where he shared valuable insights and issued pertinent guidance and instructions relevant to their duties.

The visit concluded with the customary official tea hosted in honour of the visiting officer, marking the successful completion of the day’s programme.
