Troops of the 542 Infantry Brigade offered necessary learning materials and school accessories to students of the Poomalanthan primary school and Madhu Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya on 07 January 2025 at the Poomalan than primary school.
The project was launched by the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 54 Infantry Division Major General R P A R P Rajapaksa RSP, and with the instruction and supervision of Commander 542 Infantry Brigade Colonel A R W C Asurasingha RWP RSP USP.
Theeachpack of worth Rs. 8000/= was sponsored by Miss Rosie Thuring with DFCC Bank through this initiative, and total number of 94 students received school accessories which aimed to enhance their academic experience and provide better opportunities for their future.
