BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN ORGANIZED BY CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES – OC TROOPS MULLAITIVU

In line with the Second Anniversary of the Officer Commanding Troops Mullaitivu (OC Tps MLT), the Corps of Engineer Services organized a Blood Donation Campaign at the camp premises on 10 February 2026.

The programme was conducted under the supervision of the Staff Officer I of CES OC Tps (MLT), Lieutenant Colonel A B Sumith CES. Nearly 100 donors representing the Corps of Engineer Services, together with troops from the Forward Logistics Element and the 59 Infantry Division, voluntarily donated blood in support of this worthy cause.

Colonel B W D M R P S S B D Bulathwaththa RSP, Commandant of the Forward Logistics Element (Mullaitivu), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were also present at the event, reflecting their strong commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.

The initiative highlighted the humanitarian spirit and collective dedication of the troops towards serving the nation beyond their routine duties.
