In accordance with the concept of the Commander, Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni), Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, and under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division, Major General T N K Perera, a Diners’ Club was conducted on 10 March 2026 at the Officers’ Mess of the 21 Infantry Division with the objective of enhancing the knowledge and professional competencies of officers.
Senior Lecturer Dr. D J K Ihalagedara of Rajarata University participated in the event as the Guest Speaker and delivered a lecture on the topic “Sri Lanka’s Role in State Security and Strategic Dynamics of the Indian Ocean Region.
A total of 50 officers attended the session, including the General Officer Commanding, Brigade Commanders, and Commanding Officers of the respective units. The programme provided a valuable platform for officers to broaden their strategic understanding and exchange professional insights on regional security dynamics.
