Following the normalization of the recent flood situation, a team of ti Officer and 10 Other Ranks of 1 Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps (1 SLAPC) undertook the cleaning of the Dadupure Welya Anicut in the Millaniya area. Coordinating closely with local villagers, the troops worked to remove debris that had obstructed the water flow. Their timely effort helped restore the anicut’s function, supporting irrigation needs and benefiting the surrounding community.
