On 29 November 2025, troops of the 141 Infantry Brigade conducted a timely rescue operation in the Medawatta area, where rising floodwaters had endangered several families. A total of 23 civilians, 15 males, 6 females, and 2 children were safely evacuated to secure locations. The swift response and coordinated efforts of the troops ensured the well-being and protection of all affected individuals during the challenging conditions.
