A contingent of Army personnel from 8 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry belongs to 141 Infantry Brigade serving under 14 Infantry Division of Security Forces (West), helped to clean the Divisional Hospital - Udupila and arrangements were made to feed 100 civilians including inpatients and pregnant women who visited the medical clinic on 28 February 2023.
The Commander of the 141 Infantry Brigade initiated this project on the directions of the Commander, Security Forces (West) and the General Officer Commanding, 14 Infantry Division.
Accordingly, three Officers and 30 Other Ranks actively participated in this charitable project under the close supervision of the Commanding Officer of 8 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry.
