Upon the request made by Siriparakum Dharma Vidyalaya - Gonawala, Major N M G K C Netthikumara and one of the physical training instructors belongs to 8 Sri Lanka Light Infantry provided their assistance to conduct a workshop on leadership for the newly appointed school prefects on 12 February 2023 at the school premises.
Accordingly, in the morning, students participated for a physical training schedule and later on, they attended for a comprehensive lecture regarding "Mess Etiquettes" conducted by Major N M G K C Netthikumara.
Further, as per the direction of the Commander Security Forces (West) and General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division with the guidance of the Commander 141 Infantry Brigade, Army personnel have given their comprehensive assistance to make this programme a success.
Moreover, 40 newly appointed school prefects participated in the day’s programme.
