DISTRIBUTION OF COOKED MEALS FOR AFFECTED PEOPLE IN FLOODED AREAS IN WANATHAMULLA

Several Areas of Colombo city affected due to the adverse weather condition including Wanathamulla and disrupted the daily routine of civilian population of the region. After the assessing the situation, the distribution of cooked meals to the affected people of Wanathamulla area was carried out by 14th Battalion of the Vijayabahu Infranrty Regiment and the 6th Battalion of Gajaba Regiment on 03rd of September 2023.

As per the direction given by Brigadier KAWNH Bandaranayake USP the General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division and the guidance of Brigadier JKRP Jayasinghe RSP USP the commander 142 Infantry Brigade.
