Major General SWM Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc the Commander Security Forces (West), presided over the ceremony for laying the foundation stone for the Awasa Kutiya at Peliyagoda Sri Jayathilakaramara Viharaya, upon invitation from Gataberikande Rathanasiri Nayaka Thero, at an auspicious moment 07 March 2024.
The General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division, the Deputy General Officer Commanding14 Infantry Division , Civil Affairs Officer Security Forces (West), and the Commanding Officer of 8 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry along with senior officers and all the donors, participated in this event.
