MOBILE MEDICAL CAMPAIGN SUPPORTS FLOOD-AFFECTED RESIDENTS IN WALAUWATTA–RANALA

A mobile medical campaign was conducted in the Walauwatta, Ranala area on 5 December 2025 after floodwaters receded, providing essential healthcare to affected residents. A total of 182 individuals received treatment during the programme, supported by a medical team consisting of one doctor and two nurses from the Army Base Hospital, Panagoda. Additionally, one Officer and two Other Ranks from the 144 Infantry Brigade ensured smooth administrative coordination throughout the campaign.
