Southern Province indigenous food Festival ‘Ruhunu Rasa Saraniya,’ organized by Southern Province Ministry of Agriculture got underway at Galle Town Hall premises on 27 & 28 October 2023.
Major General RAJN Ranasighe RSP USP ndc, General Officer Commanding 61 Infantry Division took part in the inaugural ceremony and the event was declared open by Dr. Willy Gamage, The Governor of Southern Province.
A large number of food experts from different areas of Southern Province joined this mega food festival. Troops of 61 Infantry Division and under command battalions, actively participated to make this event a success.
